Culture/Collegiality:
There are a relatively small number of employees at Back In The Game Physical Therapy. Therefore, we are all close and comfortable with each other. I love that about working at the office. My co-workers and I take an interest in each others lives. Brendon always asks me how my weekend was and takes the time to listen. We are able to share exciting parts of our lives with one another such as my visit to GCSU. Employees ask nicely for favors and can joke around to make time more fun. My boss and the other staff at BIG definitely illustrate my ideal employer, because the atmosphere is professional yet friendly.
Collaboration:
I remember Brendon mentioning speaking to a group of cross country runners at a sports store. He also has to communicate with patients' doctors. But other than those, I am unaware of BIG's involvement in our area.
Mentoring:
Brendon is always teaching patients about their ailments and helping them understand the process. I teach exercises to patients which is sort of like mentoring to them.
